Worcester Park Safer Neighbourhoods Team out and about

An update from Worcester Park Safer Neighbourhood Team:

Out and about

Officers from Worcester Park Safer Neighbourhoods Team visited some of our eldest and youngest residents during a police community day of action on Thursday,  23 April.

PCs Neil Burns and Dave Morris and PCSOs Gary Weaving and Nadine Campbell spent an hour at the ‘Hello Morning’ at Christ Church with St Philip, Ruskin Drive. We chatted to pensioners as they enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee whilst playing Scrabble.

Later we chatted to mums and young children at Bronco’s American restaurant, Central Road which has a large soft play area for children aged 1 – 5 and attracts lots of mums and child minders.

PCSO Gary Weaving said: “We feel both engagements went very well and we will be popping in again”.

Safer Sutton

Please remember that Sutton is a low crime borough and one of the safest boroughs in London. If you seeing a crime in progress or anyone acting suspiciously, such as someone hanging around outside a house or around a vehicle, please call police on 999. You will not be wasting our time. We would rather come out and check that everything is OK than to find that someone has become a victim of crime.
